Surgery since 1991. Brown and Root Scholar, Rice
University, 1977-1978. Dr. Herbich is a fellow in
the American Academy of Dermatology and the
American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and holds
memberships in the Hawaii Dermatological Society
and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic
Engineers.
Career Highlights
Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Herbich was engaged in engineering
and data analysis research with Brown and Root, Texas A&M Research
Foundation and Oceanography International and the University of
Texas at Houston. He also developed a Venturi flow meter for a heart-lung
machine. He has been in private practice since 1985, initially in
New York City. Today he specializes in correcting disfiguring skin
conditions and the ill effects of aging, using laser procedures
as well as cosmetic surgery, and he also performs breast augmentation,
hair transplantation and liposuction techniques. In 1982 he developed
laser skin resurfacing, with his work chronicled in part in the
Archives of Dermatology, February 1986. Dr. Herbich currently
has offices in downtown Honolulu, Wailuku and Lahaina.

Born July 5, 1956, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A Hawaii resident
since 1986. Hobbies include travel, hiking, boating and reading.
